Fund Intern/Volunteer Opportunities

Administration/Clerical/Data Entry
- Process donor contribution forms, mail donor thank you letters, mail FUNd Cards, filing, organizing campaign files.
- Send out thank you emails.
- Prepare and Import files into database.
- Collate campaign materials; put together Board manuals, and promotional packets.
- Organize t-shirt inventory.
Required Skill Set:Strong organizational ability & a working knowledge of Microsoft Office-particularly Word & Excel
Our office hours are Monday through Friday 9 am – 5 pm, since admin duties must be done at our office, you will have to be available to come in one of more of these days, sometime during these hours.
Social Media/Marketing/Grapic Arts/Photography
- Spread the word about our mission and our affiliate’s events on Facebook, & Twitter.
- Blog writing. Website maintenance-update content and photos.
- Organize and edit our photos & albums.
- Design table displays for outreach events.
- Collate campaign materials.
- Research affiliate’s news and events to share online.
We are open to your input and ideas - a marketing volunteer created our “Welcome page” on Facebook, so here is a chance to refine your skills. We want you to share your knowledge and experience with us as much as we do with you.
Experience required for a Marketing Intern:
Facebook experience is necessary, some experience with Twitter, but not necessary, photo shop is a plus, any other applicable experience with social media and social media related apps is a plus. Good creative writing skills. Most importantly is to understand how to use social media to represent theFund professionally, while being an engaging, and a efficient communicator.
Most of these projects can be done from our office or from wherever you and your computer are. You we do want to meet with you and require an orientation.
