Workplace Giving

Each year theFund workplace campaigns are held at organizations ranging from
small businesses and large corporations to Universities, public school districts and our own funded affiliate organizations.

The fundraising cornerstone of theFund is the workplace-giving campaigns where employees are introduced to theFund and how they may join us in improving their community through contributions to theFund.

TheFund workplace campaigns have many benefits for employees and our community:

They educate employees about the arts and cultural organizations in San Antonio — allowing them to make an informed choice.

They make it easy for employees to give — through a small payroll deduction, a substantial gift can be made over the course of a year. One gift can help 27 arts and cultural organizations.

Effective workplace campaigns can build loyalty among employees and support the growth of strong communities.

Culture plays a significant role in our regional economy. The arts has a $3.3 billion dollar impact on San Antonio.

"Arts and culture are worthy of support. theFund's ability to take my one donation and use it to help support nearly 30 organizations in San Antonio makes the decision to contribute so easy."
- Leo Cervantes, Warehouse Manager, O'Krent's Abbey Flooring Center

"I am pleased to report our workplace giving campaign has been extremely successful and our employees have welcomed the chance to give to arts and cultural organizations. theFund representatives keep their presentations to our employees short, and they are sensitive to our various work shifts." - John Feik, founder of DPT Laboratories and President of DFB Pharmaceuticals

Jon Hinojosa, Executive Director of Say Si speaks to San Antonio River Authority Employees about theFund, Say Si and the importance of the arts and education.

"We're doing Racker nights at arts and culture sites throughout the city. How do we continue to link our employees to art and culture? It's by getting out there." --  Mari Aguirre, Community Affairs Manager of Rackspace Managed Hosting.

"If one of my children or grandchildren wants to be an artist, I want them to be able to make a living doing that-theFund helps make that possible."-Betty Bueche, Infrastructure Services Manager, Bexar County

"We have received great response from employees wanting to give to arts and cultural organization- so we know the concept further reinforces the need for programs like theFund." - Rod Rubbo, President & CEO, theFund
